Kaitake
Spectacular
views, fresh air and a friendly welcome are just part of the charm of
the Kaitake Golf Club. Only 15 minutes drive from New Plymouth and two
kilometers west of Oakura, on Surf Highway 45, Kaitake is an easy walking,gently,
undulating sheltered course. An abundance of native trees and shrubs ensure
that golfers are able to enjoy a wide variety of bird life.
At 5022 metres the course is relatively short but the tree lined fairways
and small greens require a lot of care and accuracy foe anyone trying
to tame the par 68 layout. Off the blue tees players face one par five
and five par threes along with 12 par fours that provide an interesting
and challenging round of golf.
